Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) This is about a couple showing off their skills. Once upon a time, there was a couple. The husband wanted to know if his wife had any skills. One morning, the wife was husking the paddy. At that moment, the husband carried a pile of bamboo and started making bamboo splits. He was cutting the bamboo into pieces. And he touched the splits lightly to make them smooth. His wife saw him doing like that. So, he asked her, "Do you have any skills or knowledge about bamboo splits?" The wife said, "My husband, the whetstone surface should be abrasive like the bamboo split should be small and smooth." He thought, "My wife is wise enough." Then he started making the bamboo splits smoothly by using his knife. He learned that his wife was skillful.
