Description: Translation (Rita Seng Mai) This is about how the couple should have mutual respect and understanding for each other. One day, a couple went to the field to work. They took the pots and rations to cook at the field too. When it was time for lunch, the wife told her husband, "You cook lunch for us today. I will keep working in the field." The husband refused to cook and said, "No, you should cook." She said, "No, you cook lunch today please." Then he started preparing to cook lunch. He had put only two legs of a trivet. He made the fire and prepared to cook rice. The wife thought, "The rice must be ready now." She did some work and went to her husband. She saw that her husband was cooking the rice with only two legs of the trivet. So the rice pot fell onto the ground. Since the trivet was built with two legs, the rice pot kept falling to the ground. She told him, "Oh! How could you cook rice on the trivet with only two legs? It's impossible! Go find another trivet leg." He thought, "I thought she would be angry at me, but she isn't. She is patient." The couple always lived happily while supporting each other.
