Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, there was a duck. She usually preened her feathers and splashed water over herself. Then a crow saw her doing it every day. She asked the duck, "Why are you white?" The duck said, "Because I bathe every day." The crow said, "Then I should bath to be white." But she didn't become white no matter how many times she bathed. One day, one of the duck's feathers stuck on the crow's body after she bathed. The crow was so happy that she flew to show off her weather feather. But she lost the white feather as she flew. She was so upset about it. She kept bathing daily just to be white. Later, she died after getting a cold. Transcription (Lu Hkawng) Moi shawng de da hkaipyek langai nga ai da.
