| This project consists in the documentation of Eibela, also called Aimele (ISO-639 AIL), as part of a PhD project at James Cook University which will ultimately result in a grammar of the language along with a dictionary and a corpus of texts. Eibela is a severely endangered language with 300 speakers in Lake Campbell, Western Province in Papua New Guinea. | ||

The hand-written transcription and translation of this recording are available in session ailoa0312. File ailot0311-2.wav is the extracted left channel of the original audio recording in ailot0311-1.wav for use with the ELAN files ailot0311-1.eaf and ailot0311-2.eaf. Elan file ailot0311-1.eaf includes free translations of the recording while ailot0311-2.eaf also includes interlinear glosses imported from Fieldworks Language Explorer. | ||
