Title Farmwalk with Johnson Bayode
In this audio recording, we follow Mr Bayode to his farm. Before setting off, he explains where his farms are and what he takes along to his farm. On the way, he describes what he sees and tells us about the pond where mothers could take their children and the spirit of the pond would take care of them. On the farm, he explains what he grows and how he cultivates for the plants and talks about maize, cassava, pepper, tomato and different types of yam.
These photographs were taken along the farmwalk with Mr Johnson Bayode and show some of the things he was talking about and himself and his wife and daughter working on the farm.
This annotation of the audio recording contains an orthographic transcription of what is said in Ikaan with translations into English and Yoruba.
