Description:The second part of the hooimafa story tells how the man eventually follows the sound of the woodpecker and finds himself amongst the agouti people (marinafa) who offer him masato (fermented manioc beer) to drink made from the manioc of his own farm. The man lives amongst the marinafa and takes two wives but one day he remembers his family who he goes to find. the man however keeps on falling over and fainting when he arrives as he has been contaminated by the masato.
