S asks R in Punjabi to imagine some situations in which some metalinguistic expressions of Punjabi are used, for example, the Punjabi equivalent of 'What is the name of this word?' He asks R what English expressions would be used in those situations. S has to explain the context again and again and repats the Punjabi expressions a number of times. | |
